Under his leadership, companies increase revenues substantially and reduce operating costs. As part of his work, Ovidiu delivered a comprehensive test automation solution for a portfolio of more than 20 applications used by the US judicial system and saved € 1B in annual costs for a leading global consumer electronics company (Sony Electronics Europe) by driving vendor, tool, and process consolidation. Prior to co-founding Hindsight Advantage, Ovidiu served as the VP, quality lifecycle management with LeaseAccelerator, where he worked with accounting compliance and lease sourcing companies in the US, Europe, and Australia. He also designed and implemented new agile planning sprint-based release schedules and distributed code branching strategies using Git. In an earlier role with the US Courts, his work developing quality assurance and agile transformation strategies led to improvements in automated test coverage from 25% to 65% in just 12 months. Complementing his technology expertise, business acumen, and commitment to principles that support engagement and collaboration, Ovidiu capitalizes on his cultural awareness to establish and maintain working environments that enable ongoing communication to solve clients’ most intractable challenges. He has worked in numerous global locations, including Europe, Russia, and India.

 

Ovidiu completed his Bachelor of Science in Quantum Mechanics / Semiconductors from the Polytechnic University of Moldova and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics in International Business from the Academy of Economics of Moldova. Subsequently, he completed his Master of Business Administration in Finance and Operations Research from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Ovidiu is a Certified Scrum Product Owner. He speaks fluent Russian and Romanian and resides in Virginia.
